I am a Colorado native who enjoys taking pictures because life is too fantastic to pass you by. Photography as an artistic medium allows me to pause life and focus on the subtle fundamentals.

My passion for the arts led me to achieve degrees in Visual Communications and Fine Art Photography in San Francisco, California. But my love for the mountains brought me home to Colorado.

I am now grateful to practice my passion with my most cherished subject, life.

I was born and raised on the east coast of England to very artistic parents who encouraged me at an early age to follow my passions. After graduating College for Media Communications and Economics I started my life's journey as a photographer with travels to Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The adventure did not stop there, I was offered a contract on the QE2 and sailed for the first time in to NYC in 1997 and soon after settled in the US.

I opened and ran an award winning photography studio in Myrtle Beach, SC for 11 years specializing in weddings and lifestyle portraits. I decided to move to Colorado in 2011 to explore the mountains and find new inspiration. I have to be honest and say "I love it here".

My style is a blend of candid photojournalism and traditional posing with a focus on creativity and artistic freedom. I shoot both film and digital, love black and white and have been known to climb on roofs or get on the dance floor for "that one special shot". I believe that the connection between client and photographer is the most important element to great natural images and with over 200 weddings as lead photographer I have the experience to get the shots you desire.

My love for art was fostered as a child by my father’s artistic talents. Motivated, not only by my father but also friends, university professors and studying at the University of Barcelona I found myself pursuing photography as a Fine Art. After returning to the United States this inspiration led me to complete a degree in photography.

As I have British parents I was fortunate enough to be able to travel to Great Britain and Europe on numerous occasions. During these visits I often sat with my grandmother reminiscing through old family photos. Here I truly realized the value of capturing relationships between loved ones.

Through combining my artistic talent and the camera’s unique abilities I have found my vocation as a photograph

I was born in Sri Lanka to Peace Corps parents, and from that beginning I have lived in multiple countries and continue to travel and explore other cultures.  I studied religion, culture and politics as an undergraduate and in graduate school both in the United States and in Europe, worked at The White House and have worked and taught in the field of visual communications for ten years.

I bought my first camera on my way to the airport, when leaving for a trip to Asia. My friends and family always asked why I didn't take pictures when traveling and I never had a good answer, so, on that trip I decided to start. When I got back people loved the images, and several of them won awards and some were purchased by stock houses and magazines, and shortly thereafter my photography career launched.

Now, I am lucky enough to be an award-winning Denver based professional photographer & digital artist working nationally and internationally, offering creative, high quality digital photography as well as global photos printed on a variety of unique materials including silk, plexiglass, aluminum and canvas for commercial environments, and my work is currently seen in magazines, on websites, and in commercial buildings as well as fine homes.
